Being members of the RHA is an important operational tool for us and is an organisation we are proud to be a part of. Offering a host of membership benefits, we utilise a vast majority of their technical and professional services to compliment our regulatory requirements and to assist our in-house development with their accredited training programmes. It also gives us a very accessible channel to obtain up to date legislative changes, Industry news, campaigning projects and a voice for change at Government and Local Authority level. They champion the highest standards amongst their members and are a reliable source of support and information.

Dedicated to promoting professional excellence in the Removals Industry for over 100 years, the British Association of Removals is the recognised Trade Association in this Sector. We are proud to be members of such a reputable and quality driven organisation who set and maintain professional standards for its entire community. As a member we also adhere to a Chartered Trading Standards Institute Code of Practice. The Code protects customers and ensures Members are transparent in all their communications with them.

Many members of the British Association of Removers (BAR) are able to provide a range of moving services for commercial and office relocations; however, the Workplace Relocation Group (WRG) is a specialist sub-group of the BAR set up specifically to focus on Commercial Moves and those providing a dedicated service to that sector. All WRG Members can demonstrate this dedication by holding the BS 8522 – the British Standard for Commercial Moving, which is part of the criteria for joining WRG.
With Commercial Moves currently being our core service area, we are absolutely thrilled to have achieved our BS 8522 British Standard Certification and to be a member of a dedicated body which only serves to implement high standards, inform and support its skilled membership cohort.
As a member of the WRG you can rest assured that we comply with all health & safety requirements and are committed to corporate social responsibility in respect of our workplace, the environment and the community. We also adhere to a published Code of Practice as set down by the British Association of Removers and have demonstrated our expertise and ability to provide a professional service by passing a stringent selection criteria. We also must pass an annual external audit to ensure all WRG standards of service are being met. BS 8522 is also a regular requirement for major tenders in both the public and private sectors.
A BS standard is a technical specification and set of requirements developed by the British Standards Institution (BSI), the UK’s national standards body, to define quality and best practices for a wide range of products, processes, and services.
BS 8522 is intended to establish a minimum level of service and performance in organisations dealing with the moving of office or business equipment, furniture and goods as a service to commercial entities. As mentioned, to obtain this certification and to pass the rigorous Audit procedures that are required, is something we are very proud of and is testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.
We are proud to have been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace. Alcumus SafeContractor is a leading third-party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 companies. Our application for SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business. SafeContractor plays a vital role in supporting our clients in meeting their compliance needs and is often a pre-requisite for many of our contracts.

The Internation organisation for Standardization (ISO) is an organisation that aims to set a benchmark for consistency and equality, employing global experts to agree on a criterion applicable across the board, setting a measurable standard for anything from making a product to managing a process.
ISO 9001 is a globally recognised standard for Quality Management. It helps organizations of all sizes and sectors to improve their performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate their commitment to quality. Its requirements define how to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a Quality Management System.
ISO 14001 is the internationally recognized standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS). It provides a framework for organisations to design and implement an EMS and continually improve their environmental performance. By adhering to this standard, businesses can ensure they are taking proactive measures to minimise their environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal requirements, and achieve their environmental objectives.
